Confidence. Humility. Teamwork. Responsibility. Creativity! Theater skills are life skills delivered in an incredibly fun, engaging, age-appropriate way. Whether your child already loves singing, dancing, and acting, or could just use an opportunity to explore who they are and make new friends in a positive environment, Stage Kids classes are a great way to keep your child growing and laughing this year!
Stage Kids is an educational theater program that focuses on developing character. We see the value of having children develop skills in classes in addition to participating in shows. For this reason, simultaneous enrollment in a class is required while in the cast of a show. Stage Kids knows that kids grow in confidence when they grow in skills!
New Stage Kids Parents: We are excited for your kids to grow with us! Children participating in Stage Kids programs must be fully potty trained. We find that kids are more successful when parents don't stay for the class. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
When registering two or more siblings classes, or when registering one child for two classes, a discount of 20% will automatically be applied to the additional registration(s).
Our Intro to Theater-1 class provides a supportive, creative environment in which each student can discover and develop their unique strengths and talents. We put them all together in a fun, creative, and expressive way which builds confidence too. The Intro to Theater-1 program introduces students to theater terminology, parts of the stage, roles in the theater, and incorporates three performance elements: dance, acting, and singing. This is our entry-level class for new students.
NOTE: Students MAY participate in a Spotlight Production WHILE ENROLLED in Intro to Theater-1. Stage Kids t-shirt included for new Stage Kids.

This advanced acting class is designed for developing performers ready to dig deeper into character, storytelling, and ensemble work. Students will work on short scenes and theatrical vignettes that challenge them to make bold choices, listen actively, and respond truthfully in the moment.
Through guided rehearsal, peer collaboration, and focused feedback, students will refine their acting skills by exploring objectives, relationships, subtext, and emotional arc while strengthening their stage presence and confidence.
This class is ideal for students who are excited to stretch themselves as actors, sharpen their instincts, and discover how small moments can make a big impact on stage.

The Teen Apprenticeship Program (TAP) begins with this 7-hour training class that helps launch students on the path toward becoming theater professionals. Led by Stage Kids' Artistic Director, Lana Bromiley, students learn what it takes to produce live theater—from choreography and stage management to everything backstage and in between.
After finishing this class, "tappers" gain valuable real-world experience by completing an application, building a resume, and interviewing with the Artistic Director. Then they move to working on internships supporting Stage Kids classes and productions. Once all TAP requirements are completed, tappers become eligible to be considered for paid positions on future Stage Kids staff teams.

Education is the core of Stage Kids’ programs—this is where kids develop most! Participation in a Stage Kids class is, therefore, a REQUIREMENT for participating in a show. Intro to Theater -1 (ITT-1) & Intro to Theater -2 (ITT-2) must be taken first. (Simultaneous participation in a show and a core class is allowed.)
Stage Kids partners with great private vocal instructors to offer one-on-one training. In order to have your child's independent voice instruction satisfy the class requirement for participation in a Spotlight Production, please follow these steps:
(We will accept a maximum of 6 independent instruction students per season.)
*Prerequisite: Intro to Theater-1 and Intro to Theater-2
Stage Kids partners with Miss Becca Allen of The Next Step Dance Studio in Cashmere to offer advanced dance class instruction. In order to have your child's affiliate dance instruction satisfy the class requirement for participation in a Spotlight Production, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Register using the link below. Cost: $26 (This registration alone does not enroll your child for affiliate dance classes at The Next Step Dance Studio.)
Affiliate Instruction
Step 2: Visit The Next Step Dance Studio website to register your performer for the advanced dance class of your choice. (You will need to ensure that your child attends all classes in the selected session. Miss Becca will need to verify your performer's attendance on the form referred to in Step 3 [below]).
Step 3: Submit the Affiliate Instructor Form (which you will receive in the confirmation email after registration). This form must be filled out by Miss Becca when the dance session is complete. Once the form is complete, please email it to info@stagekidswa.org or mail to Emi England, PO 1794, Wenatchee, WA 98807.
(We will accept a maximum of 6 affiliate dance instruction students per season.)
PLEASE NOTE: AT THIS TIME WE ARE NOT PARTNERING WITH OTHER DANCE STUDIOS. This is the first time we have partnered with an independent dance studio. We appreciate your patience during this trial period.
*Prerequisite: Intro to Theater-1 and Intro to Theater-2
Our Class Act is an "informance" for kids to share what they've learned in their classes! In most classes this takes place during the last 15 minutes of their final class. Parents will receive an email with the Class Act information.
We want every child to have the chance to experience the life-giving power of musical theater, so as we are able, we offer scholarships to cover a portion of program registration fees (between 10% - 70%) based on a family's financial need.
To apply for a scholarship you must first register your child(ren) and pay the deposit, then look for the link to apply for a scholarship in your confirmation email! The scholarship deadline for Spring Classes is February 26.

Confidence. Humility. Teamwork. Responsibility. Creativity. Empathy. Joy! Theater skills are life skills delivered in an incredibly fun, engaging, age-appropriate way. Whether your child already loves singing, dancing, and acting, or could just use an opportunity to explore who they are and make new friends in a positive environment, Stage Kids shows are a great way to keep your kiddo growing and laughing this year!
Stage Kids is an educational theater program that focuses on developing character. We see the value of having children develop skills in classes in addition to participating in shows. For this reason, simultaneous enrollment in a class is required while in the cast of a show. Stage Kids knows that kids grow in confidence when they grow in skills!
When registering two or more siblings for a show, a discount of 20% will automatically be applied to the additional registration(s).
Stage Kids' summer camps are a great way to create more empathetic, creative, and outgoing children. It’s great for new children to give Stage Kids a try, as kids have a chance to build friendships and have fun over a short period of time. Our summer camps do not require any parental volunteer time.
When registering two or more siblings for camps, or when registering one child for two or more camps, a discount of 20% will automatically be applied to the additional registration(s).

The scholarship deadline for Summer Camps is May 9. Award notifications will be sent by May 16.
Kids will love our fun-filled, musical theater summer camps! Campers learn songs, play theater games, learn choreography, do crafts, and more! These are great introductory theater camps that will help grow a love of theater and performing in the students. Each showcase camp will create a mini-show as part of a larger Disney showcase extravaganza for the final day to be performed for friends and family! Even our youngest participants focus on call-and-response style performing with easy and fun songs.
Young performers who want to be in a fully staged production will love our summer production camps! Campers will learn songs, choreography and blocking, play theater games, assist in set and prop construction, and more!

"Building Characters, One Child at a Time"
INTEGRITY | TEAMWORK | RESPONSIBILITY | POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS | ADAPTABILITY
Stage Kids empowers youth through the transformative experience of theater—building character, confidence, and community. Through engaging classes, camps, and productions, we nurture teamwork, responsibility, and lasting relationships, equipping young people with the life skills to thrive and lead with purpose.
Stage Kids envisions a community where every child discovers their voice, grows in character, and develops the confidence to make a lasting, positive difference—on stage and in life.
We believe our best hope for the future is our local youth. We cannot solve the challenges they will face, but we can equip them with the life skills, character, and relationships to face those challenges successfully for themselves. Being geographically close to us, we can surround them with a community of support and shared values.
Musical theater is a powerful medium for teaching life skills, developing character, and forming strong relationships. Stage Kids learn and practice self-awareness, confidence, responsibility, empathy, teamwork, creative problem solving, artistry, and much more. Our success is not measured by the number of tickets sold or a flawless performance; we measure our success by the growth each Stage Kid experiences in the process of participating.
If you also believe our best hope for the future is our local youth, and that musical theater is a powerful medium for developing critical life skills, character, and relationships—become a Stage Kids Family Member by making a donation today!
Click here to learn about the Stage Kids Family Member Program, including Family Member benefits at each contribution level.
Stage Kids is recognized by the IRS as an organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) and donor contributions may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. It is advised to consult with a tax adviser to determine whether a contribution is deductible.
