Stage Kids Classes

Theater fun starts here!

Stage Kids WA (SKWA) Musical Theater Classes include drama, music and choreography. Learn from experienced teachers and performers while having FUN!

Our musical theater classes are focused on skill-development, not performance. They are not just for performers but for any child who wants to explore performing arts. Your child will learn how to express him or herself, gaining poise and self-confidence.  We encourage creativity and imagination!

In order to be eligible for an elective class, you must first have completed Musical Theater 1 and Musical Theater 2 classes.

Each session (Fall and Spring) SKWA offers 4, 6, 7, or 8 week theater arts classes to children & youth grades Kinder-8. These 30, 60 or 75 minute after-school classes will be held at the Numerica Performing Arts Center (PAC). During the final week of classes, students will display a portion of what they've learned by participating in a “Class Act” for their families.

*Need financial assistance?  Summer camp scholarships are being sponsored by ALCOA in partnership with the Numerica Performing Arts Center. We offer scholarships for up to 50% off tuition cost to qualifying applicants. Applications are due no later than 15 days after registration opens. The application deadline has been extended to May 1!

To apply:

  • Register your child for the program (pay 50% of the tuition fee plus registration fees).
  • After receiving your registration confirmation email, select "Manage Your Online Account."
  • Log in to your online account.

“Class Act”
Showcase Information

Theater is an art form, so change and evolution is encouraged! At Stage Kids, we are growing and developing new ways to meet the needs of our students, families and community.

Our “Class Act” is an opportunity for kids to share what they’ve been learning in their classes. With over 100 students attending this spring, we will have more time for each class to share by having the friends and family attend on the final evening of each class rather than everyone coming together for one huge event.

Please note your child’s last day of class, then mark your calendar to attend the last 30 minutes of their class so they can show you what they’re learning!

Stage Kids Shows

June: A Night at the wax museum

A Night at the Wax Museum

The hysterical meets the historical in this comic romp through the wackiest wax museum in history!  School’s out for summer, but not for several unlucky students who don’t know much about history — they have to re-take the class in summer school.  First year teacher Heather Fairchild has arranged for them to help her two aunts set up a new wax museum as a class project.  Though the students’ eyes glaze over with boredom, there’s a twinkle in the wax figures’ eyes when a mysterious incantation from the back of Cleopatra’s bracelet brings them to life!  King Henry VIII, Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Blackbeard and a bevy of lady pirates...everybody’s out for one thing — treasure! The magic of history comes alive — literally!
